      1/4: When I first joined Brain, a senior colleague, who later became a great friend, shared a mental model about engineering/research that has stuck with me since. It breaks down engineers/researchers into three categories: creators, adders, and multipliers.

             @anmol01gulati:

      2/4: The creators are the ones who love to create new things and get excited about novelty. They're the kind of people who thrive on developing X from scratch. Adders, on the other hand, enjoy building on existing creations and are skilled at combining X and Y to create Z.

             @anmol01gulati:

      3/4: Multipliers are a special breed of engineers who live for optimizing systems to the nth degree. They're like marathon runners who aim for that last 9 seconds of a race.

      4/4: Each of these types of engineers brings immense value to any project or company, and it's important to understand which category you excel in and focus on growing your strengths from there!
